ENID-BOOKS CORP.

EVERY STORY
DESERVES
THE CHANCE
TO BE TOLD.

Enid-Books Corp. was built from one author's decision to stop waiting for permission—and grew into a publishing home for other voices.

It started with one story. The purpose became much bigger.

HOW IT STARTED

SHE COULDN'T FIND
A PUBLISHER.

SO SHE BECAME ONE.

Before Enid-Books Corp., there was Till the Break of Dawn.

Dawn Monique Edmond had written her first book and was pursuing the traditional publishing route. After facing rejection, she made a decision that would change the direction of her work: if no one would publish her story, she would publish it herself.

But Dawn didn't simply print a book.

She built the foundation for a business.

Enid-Books Corp. was born.

THE NAME

HER NAME
BECAME PART
OF THE LEGACY.

Enid-Books Corp. was named in honor of Dawn's mother, Enid Winifred Edmond, affectionately known as Poochie.

Her name represents more than the name of a company. It carries forward the compassion, empathy and kindness Dawn remembers in her mother—the same qualities that influence the way Dawn approaches storytelling and creating space for others.

What began as a publishing company became another way to carry her name forward.

Enid is in the name. Her spirit is in the purpose.

THE MISSION GREW

ONE VOICE
MADE ROOM FOR
MANY.

Enid-Books Corp. began as the home for Dawn's own work. But as the company grew, so did its purpose.

Dawn began helping other writers bring their stories into the world—from first-time authors to young authors finding their voices early in life.

The books are different. The authors are different. The experiences are different.

What connects them is the belief that a person's story has value.

Stories people could hold.
Stories people could read.
Stories people could share.

Voices that deserved to be heard.

THE VOICES

MORE THAN
BOOKS ON
A SHELF.

Every title published through Enid-Books Corp. represents a person who had something to say.

Their stories explore family, identity, childhood, adversity, justice, faith, relationships, imagination and lived experience.

Different voices. Different journeys. Different reasons for writing.

THEIR STORIES MATTER.

BEYOND PUBLISHING

THE STORY
KEPT
GROWING.

Enid-Books Corp. began with publishing, but the belief behind it never stopped there.

Creating space for people's stories became the foundation for work across books, media, conversation and entrepreneurship.

Different platforms. Different audiences. The same purpose.

GIVING PEOPLE
A VOICE.
